Silver Spring home prices fall in February 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2019 in Silver Spring fell by $5,750 while total sales decreased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2019, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $521,750 - a 1.1% decrease over the $527,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 45 homes sold in Silver Spring in February 2018.

The median sales tax in Silver Spring for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,050, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for February 2019.
