Silver Spring home prices fall in March 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2019 in Silver Spring fell by $95,450 while total sales increased by 32.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2019, there were 45 homes sold, with a median sale price of $440,000 - a 17.8% decrease over the $535,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Silver Spring in March 2018.

The median sales tax in Silver Spring for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,050, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for March 2019.
