Silver Spring home prices rise in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Silver Spring rose by $44,774 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 36 homes sold, with a median sale price of $574,224 - a 8.5% increase over the $529,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Silver Spring in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Silver Spring for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,050, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for April 2019.
