Potomac home prices fall in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Potomac fell by $28,500 while total sales decreased by 12.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were 61 homes sold, with a median sale price of $885,000 - a 3.1% decrease over the $913,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Potomac in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Potomac for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $9,559, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
