Dickerson home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Dickerson rose by $63,250 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $520,000 - a 13.8% increase over the $456,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Dickerson in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Dickerson for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,350, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
