Kemp Mill home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Kemp Mill rose by $24,500 while total sales increased by 13.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 84 homes sold, with a median sale price of $437,000 - a 5.9% increase over the $412,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 74 homes sold in Kemp Mill in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Kemp Mill for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,479, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
