Fairland home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Fairland fell by $12,376 while total sales increased by 23.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 94 homes sold, with a median sale price of $338,625 - a 3.5% decrease over the $351,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 76 homes sold in Fairland in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Fairland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,212, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
