Derwood home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Derwood rose by $5,000 while total sales decreased by 11%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 81 homes sold, with a median sale price of $455,000 - a 1.1% increase over the $450,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 91 homes sold in Derwood in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Derwood for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,947, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
