Wheaton-Glenmont home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Wheaton-Glenmont rose by $29,450 while total sales decreased by 15.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 144 homes sold, with a median sale price of $389,450 - a 8.2% increase over the $360,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 171 homes sold in Wheaton-Glenmont in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Wheaton-Glenmont for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,809, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
