North Potomac home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in North Potomac rose by $43,850 while total sales increased by 53.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 63 homes sold, with a median sale price of $683,750 - a 6.9% increase over the $639,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 41 homes sold in North Potomac in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in North Potomac for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $7,380, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
