Derwood home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Derwood fell by $2,500 while total sales increased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 66 homes sold, with a median sale price of $469,000 - a 0.5% decrease over the $471,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in Derwood in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Derwood for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,947, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
