Wheaton-Glenmont home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Wheaton-Glenmont rose by $32,500 while total sales remained unchanged with 156 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 156 homes sold, with a median sale price of $393,500 - a 9% increase over the $361,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 156 homes sold in Wheaton-Glenmont in the third quarter of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Wheaton-Glenmont for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,809, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
