Montgomery Village home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Montgomery Village rose by $18,050 while total sales increased by 8.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 258 homes sold, with a median sale price of $318,000 - a 6% increase over the $299,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 238 homes sold in Montgomery Village in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Montgomery Village for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,117, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
