Brookeville home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Brookeville rose by $335,500 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $717,500 - a 87.8% increase over the $382,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Brookeville in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Brookeville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $7,534, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
