North Bethesda home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in North Bethesda rose by $63,000 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $702,500 - a 9.9% increase over the $639,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in North Bethesda in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in North Bethesda for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $7,399, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
