White Oak home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in White Oak rose by $10,500 while total sales decreased by 30.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $415,000 - a 2.6% increase over the $404,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 39 homes sold in White Oak in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in White Oak for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,454, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
