Wheaton-Glenmont home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Wheaton-Glenmont rose by $13,000 while total sales decreased by 0.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 129 homes sold, with a median sale price of $380,000 - a 3.5% increase over the $367,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 130 homes sold in Wheaton-Glenmont in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Wheaton-Glenmont for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,809, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
