Germantown home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Germantown rose by $31,200 while total sales decreased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 220 homes sold, with a median sale price of $358,000 - a 9.5% increase over the $326,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 242 homes sold in Germantown in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Germantown for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,915, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
