Aspen Hill home prices fall in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Aspen Hill fell by $10,001 while total sales increased by 2.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 140 homes sold, with a median sale price of $430,000 - a 2.3% decrease over the $440,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 136 homes sold in Aspen Hill in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Aspen Hill for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,420, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
