Wheaton-Glenmont home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Wheaton-Glenmont rose by $5,450 while total sales increased by 13.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 163 homes sold, with a median sale price of $394,900 - a 1.4% increase over the $389,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 144 homes sold in Wheaton-Glenmont in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Wheaton-Glenmont for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,809, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
