Garrett Park home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Garrett Park rose by $44,000 while total sales decreased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $674,000 - a 7% increase over the $630,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Garrett Park in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Garrett Park for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $6,247, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
