White Oak home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in White Oak rose by $5,500 while total sales increased by 12.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 83 homes sold, with a median sale price of $405,000 - a 1.4% increase over the $399,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 74 homes sold in White Oak in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in White Oak for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,454, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
