Aspen Hill home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Aspen Hill rose by $37,500 while total sales increased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 153 homes sold, with a median sale price of $420,000 - a 9.8% increase over the $382,501 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 136 homes sold in Aspen Hill in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Aspen Hill for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,420, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
