White Oak home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in White Oak fell by $6,100 while total sales decreased by 16%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $393,900 - a 1.5% decrease over the $400,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 50 homes sold in White Oak in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in White Oak for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,454, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
