Fairland home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Fairland rose by $15,050 while total sales increased by 10.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 43 homes sold, with a median sale price of $330,000 - a 4.8% increase over the $314,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 39 homes sold in Fairland in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Fairland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,212, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
