Bethesda home prices fall in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Bethesda fell by $36,995 while total sales decreased by 31.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 73 homes sold, with a median sale price of $976,500 - a 3.7% decrease over the $1,013,495 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 106 homes sold in Bethesda in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Bethesda for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $9,814, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for July 2017.
