Montgomery Beauty School enrolls 120 undergrads

At Montgomery Beauty School, 56 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 81 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in Silver Spring enrolled 120 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

68 percent of undergraduates are residents of Maryland, and 32 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (70 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (27 percent).
