Former Damascus High School standout Will Heyse started for the Stevenson Mustangs in their NCAA Division III baseball contest against the Hood Blazers on Friday, March 13, at 3:30 p.m., where the Mustangs were defeated 4-1.
The game was played at FCC Baseball Field and marked the team’s first game this season facing the Blazers.
Heyse tossed 4.1 innings, allowing three earned runs, tallying two walks, and notching six strikeouts.
Stevenson’s next scheduled matchup is set for Saturday, March 14, at 12 p.m. at Owings Mills East, again versus the Hood Blazers.
