Caden Diggs, a former basketball standout at The Bullis School, took part in the UMBC Retrievers’ 91-52 victory over the NJIT Highlanders on Tuesday, March 3.
The 6-foot-8 sophomore forward posted eight points, two assists and grabbed one rebound over 16 minutes of play.
In addition, another former Lee Network MD area athlete, Saahil Thakkar, got playing time. Thakkar, a 6-foot-1 freshman guard out of Northwest High School, recorded three points and one rebound across four minutes.
