City of Rockville recently issued the following announcement.
Four family movies. Four Wednesdays in August. Four neighborhood parks. All for free.
Bring chairs, blankets, food and beverages. Movies begin at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.).
“Smallfoot” (PG) on Aug. 7, at Calvin Park, 1248 Gladstone Drive.
“The Mighty Ducks” (PG) on Aug. 14, at Woodley Gardens Park, 900 Nelson St.
“The Little Mermaid” (G) on Aug. 21, at Maryvale Park, 812 First St.
“Sherlock Gnomes” (PG) on Aug. 28, at Potomac Woods Park, 1380 Stratton Drive.
