All Saints' Episcopal Church issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
It is with deep sadness that we share with everyone the passing of Jack Fitzgerald on Thursday, December 27, 2018. Jack was a wonderful, loving and gentle soul, and a devout Christian who truly loved the Lord. He served with grace as our sexton at All Saints. After fighting a valiant battle with cancer, he is now at peace and resting in God’s arms.
Please keep Jack’s husband Wayne and all of hisfamily and friends in your prayers through this very sad and difficult time.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 1 pm.
Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord;
And let light perpetual shine upon him.
May his soul, and the souls of all the departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
