City of Gaithersburg Senior Advisory Committee met June 4.

Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:

1. Call To Order

The Regular Session of the Senior Advisory Committee was called to order at 11:00 AM with Chair Carolyn Bass presiding.

2. Approval Of Minutes

A. Regular Session held May 14, 2018

Motion was made to approve the above minutes.

3. Discussion Topics

A. Accomplishments and Work Plan Goals for 2018/2019

The Committee brain stormed and discussed several proposed goals for 2019. While many ideas were discussed a complete list was not finalized.

B. 2019 Senior Advisory Committee Schedule

Community Facility Manager Smith presented important factors in considering the Committee's annual schedule including: the annual presentation to Mayor and City Council, budget timeline Senior Advisory Committee Regular Session and the Active Aging Expo.

The Committee discussed several possible options and agreed on a new schedule for 2019.

4. Adjournment

There being no further business, the session was adjourned at 1:55 PM
