Salisbury Sea Gulls secured a 20-6 victory over the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in their NCAA Division III baseball game Wednesday, March 4, at 2 p.m. The game featured former Damascus High School standout Mason Walter, now playing for Salisbury.
Held at Kenneth R. Perry Field, this marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.
Walter contributed one inning on the mound, tallying two walks and striking out two batters.
The Sea Gulls will play their next game at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7, facing the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops at Donnie Williams Sea Gull Baseball Stadium.
