On Friday, April 25, former Paint Branch High School standout Gabriel Ruiz’s current college team, the UMBC Retrievers, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Manhattan Jaspers.

The game took place at Alumni Field. This was their first matchup against the Jaspers this season.

The Retrievers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 12 p.m. at Alumni Field against Manhattan Jaspers.
