On Tuesday, April 8, former Paint Branch High School standout Gabriel Ruiz’s current college team, the UMBC Retrievers, lost 14-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the George Washington Colonials.

The game took place at Alumni Field. This was their second matchup against the Colonials this season.

The Retrievers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 3 p.m. at Edward A. LeLacheur Park against UMass Lowell Riverhawks.
