On Sunday, March 30, former Walt Whitman High School standout Matt Ryan’s current college team, the Lamar Cardinals, won 17-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Incarnate Word Cardinals.
The game took place at Sullivan Field. This was their third matchup against the Cardinals this season.
The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 2 p.m. at Tarleton Baseball Complex against Tarleton State Texans.
