On Sunday, April 6, former Georgetown Preparatory School standout Sam Weinstein’s college team won in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Sunday, April 6, former Georgetown Preparatory School standout Sam Weinstein’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 17-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

The game took place at Lou St. Amant Field. This was their third matchup against the Warhawks this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 1 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against Western Carolina Catamounts.
