On Saturday, May 17, former Our Lady of Good Counsel High School standout Simone Thompson’s current collegiate team the Christopher Newport Captains lost 2-6 against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
The game took place at Captains Park at 11 a.m. and was the second matchup against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the tournament.
The Christopher Newport Captains’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Captains Park.
