Former St. Andrew’s Episcopal School star Marcel Gardner and the Fairmont State Fighting Falcons were defeated 89-83 by the IUP Crimson Hawks in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.
The matchup, which tipped off at 12 p.m., marked the team’s first tournament game against the IUP Crimson Hawks and was played at the Highmark Events Center.
