Lander Bearcats secure NCAA Division II win with Jake Tringone’s help

On Sunday, March 15, the Lander Bearcats, featuring former Sandy Spring Friends School player Jake Tringone, earned a 74-66 victory over the Columbus State Cougars during the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The matchup, held at Abney Athletic Center at 5 p.m., was the Bearcats’ first meeting with the Columbus State Cougars in tournament play.

The Lander Bearcats are scheduled to compete again on Tuesday, March 17 at 7 p.m. at Abney Athletic Center.
