Katie Lawson, a former Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School player, and her Washington and Lee Generals team were defeated 77-64 by the Denison Big Red in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.
The matchup, held at Holekamp Gym at 8 p.m., marked Washington and Lee’s first tournament game against Denison.
