Jamie Raskin was born in Washington, D.C., in 1962 and currently resides in Takoma Park. A Harvard University alumnus, he earned his BA in 1983 and JD from Harvard Law School in 1987. Before joining Congress, he served on the Maryland Senate from 2007 to 2016.
