Rep. Jamie Raskin, U.S. Congressman representing Maryland’s 8th district since 2017, has addressed a series of recent events and issues in a sequence of public statements on his official Twitter account.

Jamie Raskin has represented Maryland’s 8th District since replacing Chris Van Hollen in Congress in 2017. Prior to this role, he served on the Maryland Senate from 2007 to 2016. Born in Washington D.C. in 1962 and currently residing in Takoma Park at age 60, Raskin holds both undergraduate and law degrees from Harvard University.
