Jake Tringone’s college squad clinches Division II tournament win March 14

On Saturday, March 14, the Lander Bearcats, featuring former Sandy Spring Friends School standout Jake Tringone, defeated the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters 76-71 in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The matchup began at 2:30 p.m. at Finis Horne Arena and marked the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.

Lander Bearcats are scheduled to face their next opponent on Sunday, March 15, at 5 p.m. at Abney Athletic Center.
