On Friday, March 6, the Hood Blazers, featuring freshman guard and former Walter Johnson High School standout Jordan Silverstein, secured an 84-71 victory over the Vassar Brewers in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup was held at Woodsboro Bank Arena at 5:35 p.m. and was the Blazers’ first tournament game against the Vassar Brewers.
The Hood Blazers are scheduled to play again at Woodsboro Bank Arena on Saturday, March 7, at 2:35 p.m.
