On Friday, April 11, former Georgetown Preparatory School standout Sam Weinstein’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Marshall Thundering Herd.

The game took place at Kennedy Center Field. This was their first matchup against the Thundering Herd this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 5 p.m. at Kennedy Center Field against Marshall Thundering Herd.
