On Thursday, March 12, at 3 p.m., Frederic Malek, a former Landon School standout, helped his current college squad, the Middlebury Panthers, to an 11-3 NCAA Division III baseball victory against the Norwich Cadets.
The matchup was held at the Middlebury Baseball & Softball Complex. It marked their first contest against the Cadets this season.
Malek pitched three innings and struck out three batters.
The Panthers are set to host the Castleton Spartans next, with the game scheduled for Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m. at the Middlebury Baseball & Softball Complex.
