The Food and Drug Administration visited Oriental Trading Company, Inc. in Omaha on April 23 to inspect the facility for foodborne biological hazards, based on FDA data.
The inspection concluded with the final report recommending no changes be made to any of the organization’s management operations.
The FDA conducts routine inspections of facilities nationwide to evaluate whether their products and workplace comply with laws and regulations intended to protect public health. Outcomes from these inspections are made available to the public.
The agency’s website states that the FDA is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of human and animal drugs, biological products, medical equipment and tobacco products.
