The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) conducted an inspection at Stark Group International, Inc. in Greenvale on Feb. 4 to assess foodborne biological hazards, data published on the FDA’s website shows.

The concluding report found that Stark Group International, Inc. was not required to implement changes to its management operations.

The FDA regularly inspects facilities throughout the United States to check whether workplaces and their products conform to FDA-enforced laws and regulations intended to support public health. The findings of these inspections are made available to the public.

The agency’s website notes that the FDA is a federal body chiefly tasked with overseeing the safety and quality of human and animal drugs, biological products, medical devices and tobacco items.
