During an April 6 inspection focused on food and cosmetics technical assistance, Ports America, Inc. in New York was given two citations by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), FDA data show.
As detailed on the FDA website, the following citations were issued to the company:
- ‘Failure to maintain and operate servicing area hydrants in such a manner as to prevent contamination of drinking water.’
- ‘Outlets for non-potable water are not posted with permanent signs warning that the water is unfit for drinking.’
